Rise Up Privacy Policy

Rise Up takes your privacy seriously. We understand that you are entrusting us with your information for specific purposes and we will always honor information and your requests.

Here’s what we collect:
Rise Up collects your name, email address and zip code when you sign in for an event. If you are a Rise Up volunteer, we also collect your name, address, city, state, zip code, email address, phone numbers and last 4 digits of your social security number.  (We use this information for background checks and Safe Environment certification.).  If you are a donor, we collect all that (minus the last 4 digits of your social security) and credit card information when you make a donation.

Here’s what we do with the information we collect: 
If you’ve signed up for an event, we use your information to gather opinions from you on how to make Rise Up better, we send you periodic Rise Up news so you can stay in the loop and we will encourage you to support Rise Up financially so we can continue to encourage a new generation of faith.  If you prefer not to be contacted in the future, just let us know. We’ll also have an unsubscribe as well should you prefer no future contact.

If you’ve signed up as a volunteer, we use your information to contact you regarding your assignments and other Rise Up activities. This information is never shared with other organizations.

If you’ve donated to Rise Up, first and foremost we thank you! Rest assured this information is never shared with other organizations and we hold this information in the strictest confidence.

What else you should know:
Rise Up uses Google Analytics to analyze traffic and engagement on our website.  We also use Facebook ads to target those who may be interested in our events.

By using the Rise Up website and entering your data, you consent to this privacy policy.

Changes to Privacy Policy:
If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, the new policy will be posted here with an updated modified date.
